Kenai River
Fishing Guides

Famous for the largest King Salmon in the world and millions of Sockeye, the Kenai River is Alaska's premier sportfishing destination. Let our expert guides put you on the fish.

The Run Is On

The Kenai River sees two major runs of Sockeye (Red) Salmon and King Salmon. The early runs arrive in June, while the massive late runs surge into the river in July. We track ADF&G sonar counts daily to ensure we put our clients in the exact right section of the river.

  • Late-Run Sockeye (July 15 - Aug 10): Often exceeds 1 million fish.
  • Silver Salmon (Aug - Oct): Aggressive bites and acrobatic fights.
  • Trophy Rainbow Trout (Aug - Oct): World-class catch and release.
